| Description
|
One of few nine-hole golf courses in the province of Malaga, Artola is located between Fuengirola and Marbella, 2km from the Cabopino beaches that provide a continuous sea breeze. The fairways are short and irregular, the greens generally flat, and the overall shape is oval. It is one of the oldest courses on the coast, inaugurated in 1964 with a design by Jorge Rein Mackinlay and with only six holes, which were upgraded to the current nine holes two decades later. Artola hotel is connected to the course.
